You could take her out of her timeline, hide her away from the world, but eventually she will die.
Besides, sometimes there are important things to be done after you die!
Or sometimes these events trigger an even bigger event.
Perhaps this one death means something else that is supposed to happen will happen.
It was just waiting for the trigger, and this was it.

No! I'm not saying that at all! I wish this hadn't happened. I wish-- I wish Prim-chan was still alive. But-- something like that was so huge, that- what could we have done?
